I’ve been following the Mark Myers case and something that really stands out to me is the lack of break-in signs at his home. It’s unsettling to think his murderer might have been someone he willingly let in or someone who had access. Considering there were no signs of ransacking either, it really makes you wonder about the level of trust he had with this person. Plus, with his background in real estate and as a longshoreman, it's hard to imagine who might have wanted to harm him. The police emphasizing that he might’ve been targeted is particularly chilling, especially for a tight-knit community like University Place. It’s such a peaceful area, and having this happen has definitely shaken up the neighborhood. I can't stop thinking about his family and friends, and how hard this must be for them. Here’s hoping the detectives get a breakthrough soon so Mark and those who cared about him can get some closure.
