I've been following the case of Alejandro Brown, and it really sheds light on the broader issue of witness cooperation in Chicago back in 2012. It's incredibly frustrating because, without reliable witnesses, it's so hard to get justice for victims like Alejandro. I can't imagine the anguish his family must be feeling, knowing that crucial pieces of the puzzle might never come to light because of fear or distrust in the system. This tragic pattern seemed to repeat so often that year, and it's just heartbreaking to think how many families were left without closure or answers. What do you all think could be done to help encourage more people to come forward in these kinds of cases?
