Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Ryan Dela Cruz from Seattle? I recently came across a detail about the community rallies after his passing, and it got me thinking about the sheer power of collective action. The students at Franklin High School organizing protests in honor of Ryan really touched me. It's so inspiring to see young people channeling their grief into a movement for change, especially in such a short time after losing a friend. In a world where we often feel powerless against violence, their voices are a beacon of hope. It serves as a reminder that we can all come together to demand safer communities. Does anyone know if there have been any updates on these initiatives or how they've impacted local policies? My heart goes out to Ryan's family and friends—it's clear his spirit is motivating others to strive for a better world.

I’ve been following Ryan’s case since the beginning and it compelled me to look up Martha Washington Park on my last trip to Seattle. It’s chilling to think that such a serene place became the scene of such a tragic event. I wanted to remind everyone about the bravery and unity shown by Ryan's classmates at Franklin High School. Organizing those protests against gun violence must have taken enormous courage, and it's heartening to see young people standing up to advocate for change. It speaks volumes about the kind of impact Ryan had on those around him, and how his story has touched so many lives. I can’t help but think how proud he would have been of his friends standing up and making their voices heard. It’s tragic that we are still without answers about who took his life, but perhaps the community’s ongoing efforts will one day lead to justice for Ryan. ? Stay strong, everyone.
