Has anyone else been following the details about the vigil held for Jason? Reading about how many people came together really shows the impact he had on everyone around him. More than just a statistic, Baby J was clearly a person who brought a lot of joy and connection to those in South King County. It's just so tragic to think about his child growing up without knowing him, but it has been so touching to see the community rally around his family. I was moved by the fundraiser efforts to support his unborn child—what an incredible testament to their love for him. Has anyone attended the vigil or heard any updates on how the family is doing? They must be going through so much right now.

Has anyone else been following the charitable efforts for Jason’s unborn child? I’ve been really touched by how the community has rallied around Jason’s family in such a painful time. It’s awful to think of a child growing up without their father, especially when "Baby J" was so excited to take on that new role. I came across a fundraiser online that was aiming to ensure the future of his child is a bit brighter despite this tragedy. For those interested in supporting, there’s also talk of a scholarship fund in Jason's name. It’s heartening to see people come together to show love and support – a small light in the darkness. Thoughts go out to his family, hoping they find some comfort in knowing how much Jason was loved by everyone.

Just something I've been thinking about for a while... As we all follow Jason's case and pray for justice, I can't help but feel the weight of what his family is enduring. One detail that keeps me up at night is the reality that Baby J never got the chance to hold his own baby. It's just so tough to comprehend the depth of that loss. How do you even begin to explain to a child that their dad was taken away before they could even meet him? It seems like such an unfathomable gap in someone's life, growing up without the person who would have doted on them every single day. I hope as this community continues to support his family and share memories of Jason, it can offer some comfort to his child one day. I can't imagine the strength it takes for his family to keep going, but it's clear that Jason was loved tremendously, and his light still shines through in the hearts of those who knew him. It’s so important that we keep talking about these stories to hopefully prevent such tragedies in the future.
