Hey everyone, I’ve been following Omar Paez’s case for a while, and something that strikes me is how challenging it must be to investigate disappearances involving individuals who might be experiencing homelessness. Does anyone else find it concerning that there seems to be a lack of resources or focus on these cases? I mean, they often don’t have family or friends to report them missing immediately, which might delay the search efforts. I really wish there could be more specialized teams or resources dedicated to missing persons cases where homelessness is a factor. What do you all think about how these cases are investigated? Any ideas on what changes we could advocate for to improve this aspect?
