In the winter of 2019, concern grew for a 44-year-old man named Omar Marquez Paez who had vanished from Denver, Colorado. He was last seen on February 4, 2019. At the time he went missing, it was thought that he might have been experiencing homelessness within the Denver area. His disappearance prompted his case to be entered into national databases for missing persons as friends, family, and authorities hoped for information that might lead to his whereabouts.
