I've been thinking a lot about the aftermath for Tiffany Hill's kids and just how vital it is for communities to rally around them. Losing their mom in such a horrifying way, and at such young ages, must have been incredibly traumatizing. I truly hope that the local community in Vancouver has come together to support them, whether it's through counseling services, creating a fund for their future, or simply offering a compassionate shoulder to lean on. These kids will carry this with them for the rest of their lives, and they deserve all the love and support in the world. If anyone knows of ways outsiders can contribute or help, please share. Let's turn our outrage into something positive and support Tiffany's children as much as we can.

Has anyone seen the discussion about how GPS trackers are being used more frequently in domestic violence cases? It’s deeply concerning. Tiffany Hill's case is sadly one more example of how these despicable actions can escalate. From what I've learned, Keland had placed a GPS tracker on her car, which makes you wonder how often these devices end up in the wrong hands. It breaks my heart thinking about the fear and anxiety she must have felt, knowing he was always a step ahead despite her efforts to keep herself and her children safe. Tiffany's story has stuck with me, and I hope it brings more attention to this issue. Perhaps with more awareness, there can be policy changes enforcing stronger regulations or punishing the misuse of these technological tools. It's crucial we find better ways to protect those at risk from further harm. To all reading this, let's keep the conversation going and press for real change in the justice system and the tools we allow into our lives.

I'm still grappling with the tragic loss of Tiffany Hill, and one aspect of this case that's been on my mind is the apparent failures in the legal system to protect her. Despite her repeated efforts to report Keland's threats and violations of the no-contact order, the system didn't provide the protection she desperately needed. Her courage to come forward, even when she knew she was in grave danger, deserves to be recognized and honoured. It's truly upsetting that her fears were not enough to sway the court's decision on Keland's bail. Those bail decisions feel like they need to be more attuned to the real and present dangers that victims face. Are there any legal experts here who could shed light on why judges might set bail as they do in cases like these? I hope that Tiffany’s story continues to push for much-needed changes in the system to better protect those in similar situations.
