I’ve been thinking a lot about Austin James Wilson lately and felt the need to share. While many of us are still trying to make sense of his tragic passing, I've been particularly struck by the role of his hobbies in the way people remember him. Austin had such a passion for hunting and shooting—an enthusiasm he undoubtedly inherited from his upbringing in Lewistown. It's a shame that these same interests played a part in the accident that took his life. It's a bitter irony, isn't it? His love for the outdoors and those activities seemed to truly define him, bringing both joy to his life and heartbreak in his passing. Let’s remember the joy they brought him. The stories shared about his outings with family and friends capture the essence of who he was—a bright, adventurous young man with so much ahead of him. I hope we can all find comfort in those memories and continue to honor Austin by reflecting on the happiness he experienced and shared with others. The way he lived his life is a testament to his character, and that’s how I choose to remember him. Sending love and strength to everyone who was touched by his life.
