Did anyone else catch the recent update on Morzae Roberts' plea deal? It's really tough to read about how justice is being served—or not served—in cases like Andre Hofland's. I can't even begin to imagine the frustration and pain that Andre's family must be feeling right now. They lost their son, and the person involved in his death gets a plea deal that feels like a slap on the wrist. Four years just doesn’t seem like enough for a role in a murder, even if he was only an accomplice. I understand the legal system often has to make difficult decisions and compromises, but cases with such a young victim hit differently. I wonder if there's anything more the community can do to support the Hofland family or ensure they’re heard in the ongoing legal proceedings. The pandemic has made an already slow process even more grueling, adding to their heartache. Sending them nothing but strength as they continue this journey.
