Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Sultan Abdullah Ujaama's tragic death, and there's something I can't shake off. It's the location where everything happened—23rd and Jackson. I've lived in the Central District all my life, and it really hits close to home seeing violence so close to familiar places. I've had friends say they don't even like visiting that area anymore. I can't help but wonder if other residents feel the same way. What do you all think needs to change to make our neighborhoods feel safe again? It's just so tough to think about how Sultan's family must be feeling, and I sincerely hope the community can come together to find some answers and prevent more tragedies like this. If anyone wants to talk more about community safety efforts or knows of projects happening around here, please share. Let's do what we can to support each other.

Hey everyone, I've been following Sultan Abdullah Ujaama's case and it's really been on my mind lately. Something that's been standing out to me is how Ujaama's family and the community came together after his tragic death. I heard about a fundraiser that was organized to support his family, and it seems like it really touched a lot of hearts in Seattle. It's inspiring to see people rallying together in times of such pain, showing solidarity and support. It's awful that this kind of tragedy is what brings everyone together, but I think the response signifies a strong community bond and a desire for change. Has anyone heard if there have been any further community efforts or initiatives started since the fundraiser? I feel like keeping the momentum going could really make a difference against the backdrop of gun violence in the area. My thoughts are continually with Sultan's family and friends as they navigate through this challenging period.
