Hi everyone,
I've been following Kayla Marie Kulow's case closely, and something that keeps lingering in my mind is the role of Edward Jerome Donelan's criminal history in setting his bond. With five felony convictions already on his record, I'm baffled how someone with that kind of background was allowed to remain on the streets. It's like the justice system failed Kayla even before this tragedy occurred.
It must be incredibly tough for Kayla’s family to come to terms with knowing that this could have been prevented if stronger measures had been in place to deal with repeat offenders like Donelan. My heart goes out to them, especially to Kayla's mom, Courtney, who has been nothing but a pillar of strength despite all she's been through. She deserves answers, and most importantly, justice for her daughter and granddaughter.
Has anyone else been thinking about this angle, or am I missing something here? I just can't shake the thought that our systems need a serious overhaul to prevent such devastating events in the future.
Sending thoughts and support to Kayla's family. ?
