I’ve been trying to wrap my mind around this tragedy, and one thing that really strikes me is the role of isolation in situations like this. From what I've read, Alice and Isaac lived alone, and it seems so devastating to think about them being in that environment with ongoing conflicts. It's a reminder of how important social connections and intervention from friends or family can be in preventing something like this from happening. No one should have to feel trapped in their own home, especially not someone like Alice, who by all accounts was a loving person. It makes me wonder, could a little bit of outside support or community engagement have made a difference here? My heart goes out to Alice’s family and everyone affected by this, it’s just so sad. Let’s remember to check on our loved ones, especially the elderly, to ensure they feel seen and supported.
