I can’t stop thinking about how surreal it must be for the families right now. I read that the arrests were made almost a year after the shooting, and I can't imagine what that wait was like. Trying to navigate through the pain of losing a child, all while hoping for some answers and justice. Kudos to the Lynnwood PD for staying on top of this case and making these arrests happen. It's a relief to hear that there might finally be some accountability. I hope this brings a bit of peace to Tidus and Jesus's loved ones, though I know nothing can truly make up for what they've lost. Let's continue to support the families and the community as they work through this. It’s a reminder of how crucial it is to keep fighting against gang violence for the sake of our future generations.
Reading about the tragic events surrounding Tidus and Jesus is just so saddening. I can't stop thinking about how their families must feel, especially now that some suspects have been arrested. I'm sure seeing the arrests announced in June 2023 was a bittersweet moment for them—relieved that there's progress, but hurt all over again by the memories.
I grew up not too far from Lynnwood, and it hits differently when it's so close to home. It's alarming how gang-related activities can pull in young lives with such tragic outcomes. I really hope that the increased efforts by the police and community will bring some peace and hopefully prevent this from happening again to anyone else. It's important for all of us to stay vigilant and support efforts to keep our communities safe. My heart goes out to Tidus and Jesus’s friends and family during this tough time. Stay strong, Lynnwood.
I've been following the case of Tidus and Jesus, and I can't shake the image of what it must have been like for them and their families. The thought of such young lives being cut short by gang violence is truly unsettling. I recently came across a local news article that mentioned a community vigil held in Spruce Park shortly after the tragic event. It's moments like these that really underscore the strength and resilience of the community — neighbors, friends, and even strangers coming together to remember the boys and support their families. It's comforting to see that people haven't forgotten them and are committed to tackling the root causes of violence in the area. It's incredibly important that we keep talking about Tidus, Jesus, and others affected by similar tragedies, so their stories can inspire meaningful change. How’s everyone here holding up? Any thoughts on how the community’s efforts could be further supported or publicized?
