I’ve been thinking a lot about Luis’ situation and the harsh realities that people face when trying to cross the border. It’s confusing how someone like him, who was injured and possibly in desperate need of help, wasn’t prioritized when his group was found. You would think someone would have gone back to look for him. Does anyone know if there were any efforts made by Border Patrol or other groups to locate those who get left behind in these crossings? It seems like there should be some protocol for situations like this. My heart goes out to his family, who must be living with so much uncertainty. Any insight or thoughts on how these situations are typically handled could help us all better understand the risks involved.

Wow, this situation with Luis is really unsettling. I've been following it closely since I heard about his disappearance. Does anyone here know if there’s been any word from the authorities about searching for those left behind in the desert areas? I can’t imagine being out there alone and injured. Also, what about any local volunteer groups or organizations that might be involved in search efforts? I’d hope there'd be some collaboration with groups on both sides of the border to help find him or at least bring some answers to his family.
