Hey everyone,
I've been following Jason Ellis's case for years, and one thing that keeps haunting me is the sheer audacity of whoever committed this crime. The idea that someone could carefully plan to ambush an officer, putting debris on the highway to draw him out—it's chilling. It speaks to a level of premeditation that suggests the person or people involved were familiar with his routine and had some inside knowledge.
I've read discussions about possible connections to other Bardstown crimes, but I sometimes wonder if this was meant to be a message specifically aimed at law enforcement. Could Officer Ellis have been getting too close to something big, or maybe he unknowingly stepped on the wrong toes?
My heart goes out to his family and friends. I can't imagine the pain of losing someone so well-loved under such brutal circumstances and having to wait all these years without any clear answers. Let's keep talking and sharing ideas—maybe there’s something out there that can finally bring about justice for Jason and his loved ones.
Stay safe, everyone.
Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Jason Ellis case for quite some time now, and I keep coming back to the baffling lack of leads on the weapon used in the crime. It’s been reported that multiple firearms were likely used in the ambush, but the type of guns and exact number have never been publicly confirmed. Doesn’t it seem odd that despite such extensive investigations, we still don’t have solid intel on this?
I mean, ballistic evidence usually provides some direction, but either nothing solid turned up, or law enforcement is holding that info close to their chest. Has anyone heard anything credible on this front, or is it possible that the weapons might've been expertly disposed of? My heart goes out to Jason’s family, friends, and those officers who served with him—all seeking justice and closure. It just seems like there’s a piece of the puzzle missing here. What do you all think?
I keep coming back to the way debris was used to ambush Officer Ellis. It’s just so brazen and calculated. Whoever did this had to have known his schedule or routine to set up such a trap. It makes me wonder how well they knew him or if it was someone familiar with police operations in general. You would think there’d be more eyewitness accounts or surveillance footage along that stretch of road, but it’s like the whole scene just went dark after the shooting. I can’t even begin to imagine what his family goes through not knowing why someone would target him like this. It seems like his murder is part of a bigger picture with other Bardstown cases, yet nothing ever comes of it. Hoping for new leads soon.
