Hi everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Michael Joe Parson closely and can’t seem to shake off some thoughts on Edward T. Carter’s involvement. With the trial unveiling such a tangled web of corruption, it’s concerning that the case could have been muddied by the alleged misconduct within the law enforcement ranks. It makes me question, how much of the evidence against Carter might have been compromised due to this corruption?
From what I understand, Carter had a somewhat checkered past, but I’d be interested to know if there are more concrete pieces of evidence linking him directly to Michael’s tragic death. I've seen cases before where the involvement of law enforcement can really complicate things, sometimes leading to wrongful arrests or letting the guilty go free.
Anyone else have thoughts on whether the corruption allegations might have impacted the jury’s decision? It’s hard not to think about what Michael’s family must be going through, knowing that justice might have been tainted. My heart truly goes out to them.
Let’s keep discussing until we feel justice for Michael is truly served.
Stay safe,

Every time I think about Michael Joe Parson's case, I’m reminded of how truly complex and twisted it became, especially regarding the police involvement. It’s just shocking to think that those who are meant to protect and serve could be implicated in something so heinous. Leslie Duncan's involvement really adds a disturbing layer to this already tragic situation. I can’t imagine the pain Michael's family and friends are going through, knowing that justice is so hard to attain, especially when betrayal comes from within the very system meant to deliver it. The revelations during the trial about police misconduct just make you question everything. How was something like this even allowed to unfold in such a small community? Keeping Michael’s loved ones in my thoughts as they continue to navigate this difficult path towards justice.
