I’ve been following the discussions around the tragic loss of David Harrington, and something really struck me about the timing of his death. It’s not uncommon for those who are deeply engaged in public service to face immense pressure, but it seems like something more was at play here. I’ve always admired Harrington for his dedication, even considering the stresses of being a public figure. His decision to withdraw from the 5th District State Representative race must have been difficult. I wonder if anyone else from the legal community has insights on what support systems are in place for those in similar high-pressure roles? It just seems important that we address these kinds of hidden stresses to prevent further losses like this one. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones during what must be an unimaginably difficult time.
