I've been reading through the threads about Carl King's case and noticed something that makes me wonder how thorough the search was in that area. From what I gather, he disappeared in a flooded section of Silver Street. Floodwaters can sometimes carry things far from the original location, right? I’m curious if anyone knows how far downstream the search extended. Could the flood have swept him away much further than anticipated? It’s baffling how there haven’t been any clues. Maybe there's someone local to Natchez who could chime in on how bad the flooding was around that time? Just trying to piece together what might have happened after he vanished.
Has anyone else been looking into the strange weather that night when Carl King went missing? I was researching, and it seems there was a particularly heavy rainstorm in Natchez on June 23, 2019. I’m curious if that could’ve influenced the flooding on Silver Street more than initially thought. I mean, I know Natchez can get its fair share of rain, but the timing here seems just too coincidental to ignore. Maybe the emergency services couldn't conduct a comprehensive search due to the ongoing storm? It might also explain why it's been so tough to recover any evidence or trace of him. Just throwing thoughts out there in case anyone else is digging into this angle!
