I’ve been following the Walter Gray case for a while now, and something that stands out to me is the role the location played in the crime. It's unsettling to think that a sacred space like a church, or even just its vicinity, became the backdrop for such a tragic event. I can only imagine how the congregation at Christ Temple Assembly Church must feel, knowing something so violent happened right outside their doors. It seems like the area around places of solace should be a haven, and yet the presence of drug-related activity turned it into a crime scene. This adds another layer of sadness and complexity to Walter's story. My heart goes out to his family and the community members who are now left grappling with both loss and a sense of invasion in a place that should symbolize peace.
