I wanted to talk about the small but vital role community plays in coping with a tragedy like what happened in Hueysville back in 2016. Even though I didn't know Daniel Harvill personally, I attended his funeral and was moved by how the town came together in such a powerful, supportive way. The gathering at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home brought a sense of unity and comfort, reminding us all how important it is to lean on each other in times of grief. As the investigation continues and more details hopefully come to light, I think it's crucial that we keep supporting each other and the families affected. Losing someone to violence is incredibly difficult, and while justice is vital, so is ensuring that the loved ones are surrounded by compassion. My thoughts are with everyone affected, and I pray for healing and peace for Daniel's family.
