Hello everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the circumstances surrounding the Neafus tragedy, and one thing that stands out to me is how trusting the couple must have been. As a retired pastor, Kenneth Neafus likely carried his sense of compassion and openness into his personal life, and I wonder if that trust was somehow exploited. It's unsettling to think that someone could take advantage of such kindness with such horrific consequences. It serves as a sobering reminder of how even in small towns, where people often know their neighbors well, terrible things can still happen. My heart goes out to their family, who not only lost two beloved members of their community but also had their sense of safety shattered. How do communities come together after such a loss? Would love to hear your thoughts on balancing trust and safety, especially for our elderly loved ones. Stay safe, everyone.

Wow, this case really hits hard. I’m still trying to wrap my mind around how something so brutal could happen to such a loving couple like Dorothy and Kenneth Neafus. I’ve been thinking a lot about their involvement in the Little Muddy Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Kenneth’s work as a retired pastor, along with Dorothy’s kindness, made such a positive impact on so many lives in their community. I can’t even begin to think about how difficult it must be for their congregation to cope with this loss. It’s just baffling that someone like Kevin Dye could commit such a senseless crime against people who only wanted to do good in the world. My heart truly goes out to those who knew them and were touched by their lives. Sending love and strength to everyone in Morgantown as they continue to heal from this tragedy.
