Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Moyar "Flash" B. Pleasant's life, and I can't help but be drawn to his deep connection with car racing. It's mentioned time and time again how much he loved it, and it makes me wonder just how involved he was in the local racing scene. Did anyone here know him through that world, or perhaps have stories about seeing him at local races? I'm curious if Flash ever raced himself or if he was more of a spectator, cheering on friends. It seems like such a significant part of his life that surely there must be some stories out there. My heart goes out to his family and friends; I hope they find peace in remembering the joys and passions he shared with the community.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the discussions about Moyar "Flash" Pleasant, and while it seems many of us are trying to piece things together, I wanted to ask if anyone has looked into the circumstances leading to his hospitalization at St. Mary's. It’s puzzling to me that someone with such a vibrant life in his community, familiar with both trucking and coal mining, would suddenly pass away without any suspicion of foul play.
One thing that’s been on my mind is whether his health leading up to his passing was ever discussed with anyone at the local cafes he frequented, or if he mentioned anything about feeling unwell in his last visits. It might not lead anywhere, but I wonder if those who spent mornings chatting over coffee with him noticed anything unusual or overheard anything that could provide more context.
Curious to see if anyone has thoughts on this or any bits of conversation that might have seemed odd at the time.
Thinking of Moyar and the loved ones he left behind.
Take care, folks.
I’ve been following Moyar "Flash" Pleasant’s story, and something that really stands out to me is how beloved he was in the local community, especially at those little cafes he frequented. It's touching to think of the friendships he built there over the years. I was wondering if anyone knows more about his life as a truck driver or his time working in the mines at Drummond Coal Company? It seems like he had such interesting experiences, and I think learning more about his life might bring some comfort to those of us still reflecting on his passing. If anyone has memories or stories to share, I’d love to hear them. My thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time. ??️
