Hi everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the Juice Bowl shooting, and one detail that really stuck out to me is the role of eyewitnesses. It must be incredibly difficult to process witnessing something so traumatic, let alone feeling pressured to step forward with information. I completely understand why some might be hesitant to speak up—fear of retaliation is real and terrifying. But at the same time, these voices are crucial for justice to be served for Michael, William, and their families. We often hear how community support can ease the burden for those willing to come forward, but I wonder if there's more we could be doing as a community to make witnesses feel safer and more supported. Maybe organizing some community meetings or anonymous tip lines could help? I really believe that if we rally together, we can create a safer space that encourages people to help solve this and protect others from future tragedies. Sending thoughts of peace and love to the victims' families during this unimaginable time. ?
