I've been thinking a lot about Clancy Ray Adkins' case. It's truly baffling how someone could be targeted in such a way—shot right through his own front door. I imagine he was just relaxing at home, maybe even looking forward to seeing his grandkids the next day, when his life was senselessly taken from him. Being a leukemia survivor, Clancy had already overcome so much. It's a real shame that after winning such a tough battle, his life was cut short in this horrible manner. It just doesn’t sit right with me that his killer is still out there, and I can’t imagine how his family must be coping. It's essential that we keep spreading the word about his case, especially as time goes on. Someone somewhere must know something. Even the smallest puzzle piece could be the key to finding justice for Clancy and giving his family the peace they deserve. Sending my thoughts to his family and hoping for a breakthrough soon.
