Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about Roy Hamon's case and how tough it must be for his family and friends. It sounds like he was such a bright soul with his love for music and gaming. What’s been sticking with me lately is the role of gun safety education.
I wonder if Roy had gone through any kind of firearm safety training or if there were any community programs available that might have made a difference. It's tragic to see a young life lost to an accident that maybe could've been prevented with more awareness.
Does anyone know if Grant County or the surrounding areas have organizations that focus on educating teens about gun safety? It might be something worth advocating for in his memory, to help prevent future tragedies.
Sending love to all who knew and cared for Roy.

Just been revisiting Roy’s case and can’t help but wonder about the culture surrounding guns in small towns. It seems like there are so many tragedies involving young people and firearms. Roy was clearly a bright and talented guy, loved by his community, and the fact that he lost his life this way is awful. It makes me think about what kind of conversations are happening in schools to teach students about gun safety. Does anyone know if Grant County High or the community took steps to address this? It feels like Roy’s tragic accident could be a catalyst for change, ensuring something similar doesn't happen to another family. My thoughts are with his family and friends as they continue to navigate this loss.
I've been thinking a lot about Roy Hamon's case. It breaks my heart to see such a vibrant young life cut short. I keep coming back to the fact that he was such a talented musician and had all these dreams and talents that now won't get to flourish. It's such a stark reminder of how quickly life can change. I read some of the posts from his friends, and they all spoke about how he would light up a room with his smile and humor. I can't imagine the deep hole his passing has left in their lives. It's moments like these that remind us to always check in with our loved ones and make sure they know they are cared for and supported. Sending my thoughts to everyone who knew him. Stay strong, Grant County.
