I can't stop thinking about the circumstances surrounding Cleveland Curtis Pope's passing. Burning a car to such an extent feels incredibly deliberate and over the top. It’s chilling to think about the kind of person who would go to such lengths to cover their tracks. It makes me wonder if there could have been some significant motive or fear of exposure driving them. I know the police are still urging people to come forward, and I sincerely hope anyone with even a tiny piece of information will do so. Someone out there must know something. His family and friends, like Maurice Washington, deserve to see justice for someone who was working hard to turn things around. If this is what happens when someone tries to improve their life, it’s deeply unsettling. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
