I’ve been reading through this case, and I can’t help but wonder about the role of forensic evidence in building the case against Atwood Jr. Given the nature of the crime scene, I’d be interested to know more about what kind of evidence beyond the stolen vehicle might have been pivotal. Did they find any of Atwood's fingerprints or DNA at Lisa Pace’s home, or was the link primarily through the stolen car and his unfortunate circumstances at the time of arrest? It’s terrible to think how trust among family can be broken in such tragic ways, and my heart goes out to Lisa's loved ones who must be living with so many unanswered questions. If anyone has updates or knows more about how the evidence was used to secure the charges, I’d be very interested in hearing more. It seems like there might be a lot more to this story that hasn’t come to light yet.

Does anyone else find it incredibly alarming and sad when family connections show up in cases like this? I recently came across the case of Lisa Pace, and it's chilling to think that someone distantly related to her, like Ernest E. Atwood Jr., could be involved in her death. Reading about how he was caught driving her vehicle just adds more layers to the tragedy. It must be unimaginably difficult for Lisa's family and friends to process everything, knowing that someone within their extended family might be responsible. I appreciate the thorough investigation by the Kentucky State Police and other local agencies, but my heart truly goes out to everyone mourning Lisa and trying to make sense of this senseless act. If there's any good that can come from this, it's the reminder for all of us to keep lines of communication open with our loved ones, no matter how distant they might be.

Hey everyone, It's been really jarring to read about the connections between Lisa Pace and Ernest Atwood Jr. I was just thinking about how strange and unsettling it must be for the family to realize that someone even distantly related like that could be involved in something so devastating. It makes you wonder if there were any signs or if this came completely out of the blue for them. The fact that Lisa's own vehicle was used—and ultimately led to Atwood Jr.'s arrest—just adds another painful layer for her loved ones. It's hard enough to deal with such a loss, but to also confront the reality of betrayal within a family, however distant, must be almost too much to bear. Sending my thoughts to Lisa's family and to the community in Eddyville. It's heartening to see all the agencies working together. I hope they find every piece of information needed to bring some closure. If anyone knows more about any warning signs or how their relationship might have looked before all this, please share. Stay safe out there, everyone.
