I’ve been following Justin Hague’s case ever since it happened, and something that really stands out to me is the role of witnesses in bringing about justice. Deonta Thorn’s willingness to come forward despite the risks he might have faced was crucial in resolving this case. In many ways, it’s his courage and honesty that allowed Justin's family to finally get some answers. It's incredibly moving to see how one person’s decision to speak up can make such a huge difference. I can't begin to imagine the relief Justin’s parents felt when they finally heard about the arrest. For anyone else out there with information about unsolved cases, Thorn’s example is a reminder of how important your voice can be. My thoughts continue to be with Justin’s family and all who loved and miss him.
