I've been following how aggressive gun violence was in this case; it really makes you think about the kind of society we're living in and what measures need to be taken to prevent such tragedies. Mikaela Buford's role has been troubling for me—how does an 18-year-old end up driving a car tied to such violence? How could someone so close in age to Kayla and Adrianna be indirectly part of a scenario that led to their deaths? It's unsettling. We have to keep discussing how to address violent behavior before it escalates to such tragic outcomes. Maybe raising awareness in schools or community groups can help prevent future senseless acts.
