I've been thinking a lot about Royce Lee Buford's case lately, and one thing that really stands out to me is how elusive the details of the shooting are. It’s frustrating to think that someone out there knows what happened to him and yet things remain so unclear.
It sounds like Royce was trying to make ends meet working in food service while balancing time with his children, who must be feeling an incredible void right now. The lack of publicly reported leads only adds to the family's stress, I'm sure. I sincerely hope that people who may have seen or heard something come forward so that Royce's family can find some form of closure.
There's so much respect due to his family for keeping faith and advocating for the truth, despite everything they’re going through. If anyone here has any information, please reach out to the Louisville Metro Police Department. It’s so important that justice is served and that Royce’s family can start to heal.
Was anyone else struck by the lack of information about the scene of the shooting? It feels unusual that, after all this time, there still hasn't been clarity on where Royce was actually shot. I can't imagine the agony his family must be experiencing, not knowing exactly what happened or where it happened.
It often seems like police are able to trace the last movements of victims pretty quickly, especially when it involves something as serious as a shooting. This makes me wonder if there’s something particularly complex about this case. The fact that Royce was able to be transported to the hospital is another detail that sticks out to me. Did someone find him and call for help? Was there a witness?
My heart truly goes out to Damita and Royce’s sons. I can't help but think that if there's someone out there with answers, they need to come forward for the sake of giving his family some peace. Let's hope LMPD makes progress soon. If anyone local has heard any rumors or news, however small, maybe sharing could help in some way.
