Hey everyone,
I've been following Lacie McKinnie's case for a while, and I keep thinking about how her story fits into the bigger picture of missing teens that never get enough attention. It's so frustrating when these cases seem to just fade into the background over time. With Lacie disappearing back in 2019, it's baffling that there haven't been any solid leads. I can't help but wonder if Tampa's resources for handling these cases are being stretched too thin, given the number of them going cold.
Does anyone know if updates from NAMUS are typically shared publicly, or is most of the information kept under wraps unless there's a major breakthrough? I understand that a lot probably depends on new information coming in, but it'd be great to see more transparency to keep her case in the public eye. I'm hoping that someone in the community has heard something or that a new lead surfaces soon. These young ones deserve more, and so do their families.
Keep spreading the word and don't lose hope.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Lacie McKinnie's case for a while now, and something that’s really stuck with me is the change in her social media activity right before she went missing. I know authorities often look into these things, but I feel like there might be more to uncover. From what I’ve read, she was pretty active on platforms like Instagram and Snapchat, but then her online presence just dropped off a few days before September 13, 2019.
It makes me wonder if maybe she was trying to send a message or if she was overwhelmed with something going on in her life. Does anyone know if the family or authorities have mentioned anything about this before? I keep hoping there’s a clue hidden in those last interactions that might shed some light on what happened.
If anyone has more insight or just some thoughts, I’d love to discuss! Let’s keep spreading the word and hopefully find some answers for Lacie and her family.
Has anyone else been following the strange pattern of unsolved cases in Tampa around the time Lacie McKinnie disappeared? It seems like Lacie's case is one of several that have gone cold, and it's really concerning. I came across a discussion about possibly connecting these cases in some way, but there hasn't been much media exposure on it. Has anyone heard about any potential connections or common factors that link them together? If investigators could find some kind of thread, it might help not just Lacie's case but others too. Thoughts?
