Has anyone else been following the case of Donte LeVelle Edwards? It's so sad to see such a vibrant life cut short. I've been thinking a lot about the impact his death has had on the community, especially the kids he coached. Donte was clearly a pillar of strength and positivity for those young kids. I can't imagine how tough it must be for them to process losing a mentor who believed in them and was so involved in their lives. It’s so important that we support these children as they navigate this difficult time, offering them guidance and ensuring they feel safe despite such a shocking loss. It’s also disheartening that despite the passage of time, his case has remained open without significant leads. I really hope that someone comes forward with information soon. Holding vigils and peace walks is a wonderful way to honor Donte, and it shows the strength and unity of the community. I’m sending my thoughts to his family and hoping they get the justice and peace they deserve soon. If anyone knows anything, I urge them to reach out to the authorities. We need to come together to stop this cycle of violence and make sure no other family has to endure this kind of pain.
