I can't stop thinking about the perspective of Anthony Hendrix Jr.'s friends who were with him that day at East Frankfort Park. It's a reminder of how senseless gun violence doesn't just take a life; it shatters entire communities. The arrest of the suspect must be a relief for them, but the road to healing is surely long.
