I just can't stop thinking about what Rodney's last moments must have been like. It's so distressing to imagine the fear and confusion he probably felt with Dustin Bell forcefully entering the home. It's hard to wrap my head around why some people resort to such extreme violence. And while it's a small relief that the woman with him survived, it's unimaginable to think of the trauma she's been through. I've been looking into Detective Frank Thornberry’s record, and it seems like he's quite experienced. It’s reassuring in some way to know that Rodney's case is being handled by someone who is thorough and dedicated. But still, I can’t shake off the sadness for Rodney's family, especially knowing how loved he was in both Lancaster and Betsy Layne. It's a tight-knit community, and something like this is bound to leave a lasting scar. My heart goes out to everyone affected, and I truly hope justice is served for Rodney.
