I’ve been following the Michael L. Shackelford case for a while now and something keeps bugging me. Have any of you looked into the potential significance of his jobs around the time he vanished? Working at an auto salvage yard and doing roofing could mean he was interacting with a wide range of people from St. Louis County and Kinloch. It just makes me wonder if anyone from those circles noticed anything unusual or if there was someone who might have had a reason to harm him. Could it be that someone connected to his work had an issue with him? The lack of communication since October 15, 2019, is seriously unsettling, especially for someone who regularly reached out to family even if he wasn’t seeing them often. Would love to hear thoughts or any info others might have on this angle.
Has anyone looked into the possibility that Michael Shackelford might have met someone through his roofing jobs? I know folks in trades often have to move around a lot for work, and it wouldn't be too strange if he came into contact with various people every day. Maybe someone knew about his pattern of not seeing his family for a while and took advantage of that? It's just a thought, given how little info there seems to be. If anyone has any insight into the roofing or auto salvage communities around Kinloch, that might be a good place to start asking questions. All the phone communication and being away from family sounds like it could be relevant somehow, but who knows. Just hoping for some fresh leads to open up soon.
