I was reading up on Kris Smith's case, and something that struck me was the lack of progress despite the numerous appeals for information. It's incredibly frustrating to see how little traction these investigations sometimes get, especially when the victims were such influential community figures.
One thing I've noticed is how important eyewitness accounts can be in solving these cases. I can't help but wonder if anyone near North 26th Street that night noticed something unusual or if there's more CCTV footage that hasn't been reviewed thoroughly. With the mention of the black Dodge truck, it seems like there might be more people who might have seen it or even have dashcam footage from that area.
