Hey everyone,
I've been following Alec "Tinko" Pettiway's case since it happened last March, and I just can't get it out of my mind. It's so unsettling that such a bright young man, with so many dreams and talents, could have his life cut short like this. I recently read up a bit on his passion for culinary arts—having a scholarship for it is no small feat, especially at such a young age. It makes me think of how much potential he really had and what he could have accomplished. It’s so incredibly unfair not just to him, but to his kids who will grow up without their dad.
I keep hoping we'll hear some new information about any suspects or leads. It seems like cases like this sometimes just stop getting the attention they deserve, but I truly hope that's not what happens here. Alec and his family deserve justice. If anyone has any fresh insights or thoughts about why this case might be stalling, I'd appreciate hearing them.
Thanks.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Alec Pettiway's case closely, and something I've been thinking about is how easy it is to overlook the impact of such a loss on his siblings and friends. Losing someone so senselessly must be incredibly tough for them. Alec wasn't just a victim in the headlines - he was a brother and friend who shared his passions and dreams with those around him.
Given his love for video games and culinary arts, I bet he brought a lot of joy and creativity into the lives of his siblings and friends. It’s devastating to think about how many game nights or shared meals they’ll miss out on now. I can only imagine the hole that's been left in their lives.
I hope they’re finding some support and comfort in each other during this difficult time. Let’s keep spreading the word about Alec’s case and hoping that anyone who knows something comes forward. Justice for Alec could help bring his loved ones some level of peace.
If anyone else is local or has heard updates, please share. We need to keep this case visible.
Stay safe, everyone.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Alec "Tinko" Pettiway’s case lately, especially the circumstances surrounding his life before the tragedy in March 2021. I recently learned he was in culinary school on a scholarship, which really struck a chord with me. It’s just so inspiring to see someone pursuing their passion, only for his journey to be cut short. Just imagine the potential he had and all the delicious meals he could have created.
I can’t help but wonder if there’s more to the story here. I know he was indicted last year for marijuana charges, but that shouldn't define his entire life or explain why someone would target him. It feels like there's a piece of the puzzle missing, and it's frustrating that there haven't been any arrests yet.
My heart goes out to his family—his parents, kids, and all who knew him must be going through such a tough time not knowing who’s responsible. If you’ve heard anything new, please share. Let’s keep Alec’s memory alive and continue supporting his family in their search for justice.
Stay safe out there, folks.
