I was reading up on the case of Jamar Patterson Jr., and I can't help but wonder about the person who found him. It must have been a shocking experience to come across such a tragic scene on your way to work. I hope they're doing okay. Their quick action in notifying authorities shows how important it is for communities to look out for one another, even if it’s in moments of tragedy.
Also, I think about Jamar’s family and friends—how hard it must be for them to get closure without any leads or suspects. It's a bit frustrating to know there aren't any updates yet, but I'm hopeful that with everyone keeping their eyes and ears open, justice will be served in time. It’s crucial for any little piece of information to be reported, no matter how insignificant it seems. Every bit can help put the puzzle together. 
I'm really disturbed by another aspect of Jamar Patterson Jr.'s case: the lack of witness reports from that morning. Considering it was around 7 a.m. on a weekday, you’d think someone might have seen or heard something unusual while going about their morning routines. I live not too far from Delong Road, and it’s a pretty busy area during those hours with people commuting or walking their dogs. It’s confusing and frustrating how there’s been no public mention of potential witnesses seeing anything.
It deeply saddens me thinking of Jamar’s family, left in the dark without any clear answers. It’s honestly so unsettling to imagine that someone out there knows something and hasn’t spoken up. I encourage anyone who was in the area that morning to think back to anything out of the ordinary, no matter how small. Sometimes the smallest detail can be the key to piecing together what happened. Let’s keep Jamar and his family in our hearts and do what we can to support them in this difficult time.
