Has anyone looked into the shelters and community centers in the Brainerd area? I'm just wondering if Mark, or "Richard," might have checked in under one of his aliases. Sometimes people experiencing homelessness might find temporary help and kind of fall off the radar, especially with different names involved. I’m not familiar with all the resources available there, but maybe some volunteers or workers might have recognized him, even from a photo. Plus, if he showed up around Thanksgiving, maybe there was a holiday meal event or something he could have signed in for? Just a thought, hoping someone out there might have seen him.
Has anyone looked into the significance of Mark Steward possibly using different aliases? It seems like it would make tracking him incredibly difficult, especially if he’s been switching between Richard Steward and Richard Smith. Could this behavior be linked to something - maybe an attempt to start fresh somewhere new, or even to hide from someone or something? It’s interesting, though, that despite these challenges, his family still had fairly regular contact with him before he vanished. I really hope someone with more knowledge in tracking people using aliases might chime in here, because it feels like a crucial piece of the puzzle in trying to figure out where Mark might have gone. Every bit of insight could help.
