Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Jordan Wesley Morgan since it first hit the news, and every detail I learn just brings more layers to this tragedy. One aspect that really gets to me is the sheer randomness of how it unfolded. The thought of someone breaking into your home while you’re asleep, a place where you're supposed to feel safest, and committing such a heinous act, is just beyond terrifying.
I can't even imagine the shock and trauma this has brought to the Morgan family. Not only did they lose Jordan in such a brutal way, but the whole experience of waking up to gunfire and seeing a loved one in danger is truly unimaginable. Wesley Morgan’s brave attempt to protect his family while suffering from his own injuries shows an incredible strength I can’t even fathom.
There’s some talk about the motive behind Shannon Gilday’s actions, but knowing why doesn't necessarily provide comfort when a life as vibrant as Jordan’s was taken so suddenly. My heart goes out to the Morgan family as they navigate through this nightmare. If anyone has updates, especially around the trial proceedings, please share.

I've been thinking a lot about the scaffolding Gilday used to break into the Morgan home. It seems like such a minor detail, but it really shows how premeditated and sinister this act was. That scaffolding was meant to help improve their home, and instead, it was used to commit this awful crime. It's such an unsettling thought to know that something as benign as construction equipment played a role in what's happened. My heart truly goes out to Jordan's family and friends. I can't imagine the pain they've been going through, especially knowing the lengths this monster went to invade their home and take Jordan from them. It's a haunting reminder of how quickly normalcy can be shattered by senseless violence.
