I’ve been thinking a lot about the bystanders who were at Hoops Grill and Sports Bar that night in April 2022 when Alden Fernandez and Haris Boskailo were tragically shot. Just imagine being there, trying to enjoy an evening out, when suddenly everything turns to chaos. I can’t even begin to imagine what those people went through—witnessing such a horrific event and having those moments replaying in their minds. I hope they have been able to find some peace and that the community is supporting them as well. It's such a stark reminder of how random and senseless violence can affect not just the direct victims but everyone around them too.

Hopefully, with David Morales's arrest, we are moving closer to justice for Alden and Haris. They - and their loved ones - deserve answers, and we must keep supporting them by sharing what we know. I’ve been following Alden Fernandez’s case, and the arrest of David Morales is really bringing up so many questions. It's been over a year, and despite the progress with the arrest, it seems like there’s still more to uncover, especially regarding the motive and any connections. Was it random, or is there something more? Sending so much strength to both victims' families as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
