I've been following the Alice Ku case, and something that's really puzzling to me is the timing of the email supposedly sent from her. If investigators found that Herchen might have sent that email from his location, why hasn't more action been taken? There seems to be a lot of skepticism around his version of events, and if the CIB can corroborate their suspicions, you'd think it would lead to a more concrete charge. The location data and digital footprint are crucial pieces here, and it just blows my mind that despite this evidence, things still seem to be at a standstill. Has anyone heard if there’s been a recent push for increased cooperation between the US and Taiwan on this? It feels like there’s so much red tape, and meanwhile, Alice's family is left in limbo.
Has anyone else been looking into the locations that Herchen was supposedly visiting for this "business trip"? Something about the whole itinerary seems off to me, especially since there doesn’t seem to be much concrete info about the business aspect of their visit. It just feels like there might be more to uncover about why they were actually in Taiwan. I wonder if anyone has tried to connect with locals who might have seen them? Local businesses, taxis, hotels—someone might remember something crucial from that week. Just throwing ideas out there; hoping someone can dig deeper into this angle. It feels like there are still so many pieces missing.
