I’ve been following this case and I just cannot stop thinking about the impact it has on Tobin's kids. Losing a father on Father’s Day is such a painful twist of fate. I am so moved by the response of community leaders like Metro Councilman Jecorey Arthur organizing events against gun violence. It feels essential that these efforts get the support they need so that we can try to prevent another family from experiencing this kind of loss. It's promising to see people rallying together, yet at the same time I'm reminded of how deep-rooted these issues are and how much work lies ahead. My thoughts are with the Tobin family, especially his children, as they navigate life without him.
