Hey everyone, just saw the update on the Ebony Shepard and Dashawn Powell case and it really got me thinking. It's been over a year, and there's still no word on any suspects? Can't imagine how their families must be feeling with so many unanswered questions. I read that multiple shots were fired, which makes me wonder if this was a targeted attack or if they were just tragically in the wrong place at the wrong time. I hope the community comes together to help LMPD with any clues or information. It must be so tough for their loved ones not to have any closure. Let's keep them in our thoughts and hope for justice soon. If anyone hears anything new, please share!

I recently came across the tragic case of Ebony Shepard and Dashawn Powell, and my heart goes out to their families and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. I was particularly struck by the fact that their lives were ended so violently and so abruptly in what seemed to be an area they might have been familiar with. Does anyone know if the Russell neighborhood has been prone to incidents like these, or if there’s been any increase in violence recently? I can't help but wonder if there's a larger pattern or something specific about this area that might have played a role. It’s just so unsettling not knowing the reasons behind such senseless violence. Let’s hope the LMPD can get to the bottom of this soon, and that justice will be served for both Ebony and Dashawn.

Hey everyone, I wanted to touch on a different angle of Ebony Shepard's case that I don't think has been mentioned much. I've been thinking a lot about the impact this has had on her neighborhood in Russell. It's such a tragedy to see this kind of violence in any community, and it makes me wonder how people living in the area are coping with this. Reports say the area where they were found has been struggling with crime, and I can't imagine the fear and uncertainty these incidents must instill in the residents. It's a stark reminder of how deeply these tragedies go beyond just the immediate victims. It's crucial for us all to support them and to push for safer communities, not just as a reaction to these events, but proactively. If anyone here is from the area or knows how the community is holding up, it would be great to hear some first-hand insights. I really hope that justice will be served for Ebony, Dashawn, and their families soon. They deserve nothing less. Sending love and strength to all affected. ?
