It's really difficult to wrap my head around the tragedy that befell Lexus and her loved ones. Thinking about the children who will grow up without their mother because of such a senseless act really hits me hard. A friend of mine mentioned once crossing paths with Lexus at a local grocery store, and even though it was a brief encounter, she remarked how friendly and bright she seemed. It's moments like this that remind us of the value of human connection, no matter how small, and the void that’s left when someone’s light is extinguished so abruptly. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Lexus—it's a pain no one should ever endure. Let's continue to rally around her family and shed light on the importance of addressing domestic violence, ensuring victims have the resources and help they need to feel safe and supported.

I was shocked to hear about the loss of Lexus Massey Wilson. It’s incredibly difficult to wrap my head around the impact this has had on her children. Growing up without their mother will be unimaginably tough, and my heart goes out to them and the family. I keep thinking about the importance of community support and the role it plays during such a terrible time. If there's anything more we can do as a community to support her kids and family, I hope someone will organize something, maybe a vigil or a fundraiser to help them through this. Domestic violence is such a horrendous reality, and it's crucial we come together to support and protect those who are vulnerable. Keeping the family in my thoughts.
