I'm still trying to wrap my head around what happened to Chad Holmes. He was such a shining example of hope and resilience. I attended some of the services at Harbor House, and his kindness and sincerity always stood out to me. It's gut-wrenching to think that someone so focused on turning their life around was taken in such a violent way. I can't help but wonder what drove Kenneth Gibbs to such a tragic decision. Was there warning, something the rest of us missed? My heart goes out to the Harbor House community, they’ve lost not just a friend but a beacon of light. If anyone has insights or thoughts on the aftermath for the residents there, I’m all ears. It just feels like such an insurmountable loss for those who considered Chad not just a fellow resident but family.
