I’ve been thinking a lot about William S. Presley’s case lately, and it really bothers me that it’s been over 10 years with no solid leads. I saw somewhere that there was no sign of forced entry at his home, which makes you wonder if Presley knew his killer. It’s unsettling to think someone he might have trusted could betray him in such a horrible way. Even though the burglary at his storage shed wasn’t linked to the murder, it’s hard not to look at the timing and wonder if it’s all just a huge coincidence. It’s so concerning that this is just one of many cold cases in the region. I really hope people in Rockford or anyone with information come forward. Presley's family deserves answers, and his memory deserves justice. Sending thoughts to his loved ones while they wait for closure.
I was just revisiting some old cases from my hometown, and William S. Presley's murder always comes to mind. It's so unnerving to think that he was killed in his own garage, a place where most of us think we're safe. The fact that there was no forced entry makes me wonder - could it have been someone he knew who did that to him? It's been over a decade, and still no answers or justice. My heart goes out to his family, who must be enduring the pain of not knowing, even after all this time.
