I just came across this heartbreaking case of Deyonte Foster, and my heart goes out to his family. What really stands out to me is the frustration his family feels about how they were informed of his death. It must have been incredibly difficult for them to go through that moment without a detective to provide more clarity and compassion. I can't imagine the pain they must feel, receiving devastating news in such an abrupt way. The lack of suspects and progress in the investigation just adds to their agony. It's hard to comprehend how a family can be left without answers for so long after such a tragic event.
