I've been following the case of Gage Edward Lankford, and I'm struck by the community's deep sense of loss and urgency for justice. Gage was clearly cherished by his family and friends, and his unexpected death has left them in immense pain. One aspect that keeps resurfacing in my mind is the location where he was found—near the Watterson Expressway. It's such a busy area, and I keep wondering if someone might have seen something that could help the investigation.
If you were driving around that area on September 11, 2022, or know someone who was, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Even the smallest detail could be the piece of the puzzle the investigators need. My thoughts are with Gage’s family and loved ones during this difficult time. They deserve closure, and any leads could be pivotal. Stay strong, everyone.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been following Gage Lankford's case, and my heart goes out to his grieving family and friends. I’ve been thinking about the location where his body was found, near the Watterson Expressway on South 3rd Street. It's a pretty busy area, even at night, with a constant flow of cars and people passing by. With all that activity, you would think there might be witnesses or even some traffic cameras that could have captured useful footage.
Does anyone know if the LMPD has looked into surveillance from nearby businesses or dashcam videos from vehicles that might have been in the area during that time? It seems like such a densely trafficked spot would have more eyes on it, especially around 11 p.m. when he was found.
I can't imagine how hard this wait must be for Gage's family, and I truly hope there's more information soon to bring them some answers and justice. Hoping someone out there saw something or remembers something that could help solve this senseless tragedy.
Stay safe out there, everyone.
