It’s truly devastating to learn about what happened to Donald Holman, especially amidst a weekend that saw so much violence. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are dealing with such a senseless loss. I've been reading about the neighborhood where it happened, and it seems like the community there has been grappling with safety concerns for years. Given the escalation of gun violence during that time, I wonder if there were any community initiatives or law enforcement efforts in place back then that might have made a difference—or even if there are any new ones now. It's so frustrating to think about the loved ones left behind and how they must navigate life after losing someone dear to them like this.
